As every year, the best of photojournalism worldwide Museo Franz Mayer reached the World Press Photo 2013 exhibition that will be seen until 29 September.
143 images is impacting its rawness and surprised by its beauty, which show fragments of an infinite visual mosaic, taken by photographers from around the world, those viewers of situations, events and places that otherwise would almost impossible to observe.
The photographs that make up the World Press Photo 2013, show human suffering, the horrors of war, violence and crime and gang life on individual images or in photo essays.
They can see the horrors caused by the lack of respect and the rule of law. Photographs are extraordinary, the best in the world, depicting the tragedies that live in our days.
Divided into various categories such as contemporary issues, daily life, sports action, sports chronicle, portraits in the environment, nature, news and portraits, attendees will see a wide range of the best photographs, of high aesthetic quality and beautiful composition.
The aim of World Press Photo is to inspire understanding of the world through quality photojournalism. The annual exhibition is traveling and will tour 100 cities in 45 countries. (Through Conaculta)
